Our surprising FIRST DAY IN BUCHAREST, Romania🇹🇩

We have arrived in Bucharest, Romania's capital city! Finally after 11-hour overnight sleeper train ride from Timisoara, we arrived in Bucharest. We were welcomed by our friend Catalin ‪@BackPackYourLife‬ who was born and grew up in the city. He took us to the Pedestrian-only zone in Bucharest that is happening every Sunday. We walked around Victory Square, all the way to Arcul de Triumf (The Arch of Triumph) which was designed after the one in Paris. In fact, Bucharest is known as "Little Paris". It was amazing as we saw the first sights of Bucharest for the first time, and even joined a Romanian traditional dance! We then ended the day with the best local beer.
