Where We Live - Havering's CCTV Control Room

Havering Council’s flagship campaign, Where We Live is also about being and feeling safe, in the borough. It is a priority for residents and it is also a priority for both the Council and its partners in the HCSP (Havering Community Safety Partnership). The Council and partnership has invested almost £3million into upgrading its CCTV cameras and facilities to help boost the role they play as the borough’s “eyes” in fighting crime and keeping everyone safer. The Council’s CCTV team has moved to a state-of-the-art new control room near the Town Hall in Romford, and continues to provide the all-important support to police and the Council’s community safety and enforcement officers.
