His stay in Barcin in 1985 during his compulsory military service, at a time when the Inowrocław Krzyż railway line was in full operation, when the workers' hotel provided accommodation for employees of nearby factories, and the restaurant provided entertainment and food, was recounted and recalled by reserve corporal Krzysztof Lisius after more than twenty years of absence.
