A Laptop That Survived a Car Accident: I Brought the HP Victus Back to Life! A friend of mine was in a car accident while his HP Victus gaming laptop was inside, and the car flipped over. The friend was fine, in fact, perfectly fine when he arrived at the shop, but the laptop was in deplorable condition. New laptop cases and parts are very hard to find. That's why I couldn't find any. The owner of the laptop tried to contact HP service, but as you can imagine, they were overcharging him. Because the price was too high, he started looking for other solutions. When he contacted me, I told him that the wholesaler didn't have any and that he could find a used case and sell it. Shortly after I referred him, he bought an identical HP Victus case at a very low price. Of course, the screen was broken, so he supplied that too.
