Commercial Breaks—The Family Channel—February 8, 1998

From just after ownership of the channel was transferred from a shell company of Pat Robertson's to 20th Century Fox and from before it got rebranded to Fox Family. These breaks ran during a taping of the ABC-era COLUMBO episode "Columbo Goes to College". COMMENT: Hey, I heard that Pat Robertson is dead as of May. Good riddance—he was a very evil man who spread disgustingly harmful and hateful rhetoric about many different people while masquerading as a Christian preacher and pioneered "Christian" fascism in this country. Of course, Freeform (which the channel these breaks came from is currently branded as) had spent the last several years mercilessly ripping to shreds their contract to carry "The 700 Club" twice daily until his death; since the day of that has recently arrived, now would be a good time to take it off their schedule for good.
