In the Sierra de las Nieves mountains in Málaga, the program delves into the history of the neveros or ventisqueros, structures used for centuries to store snow and transform it into ice for supplying towns and cities in Málaga, Cádiz, and Seville. The journey continues to the Doñana area, where several farms and ranches participate in the Doñana Regenera project, an initiative coordinated by the Doñana Biological Station and funded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition. The final stop takes the program to Cumbres Mayores (Huelva), where a family has launched "Merino y Punto," a project to market 100% Merino wool from small Andalusian farmers. Through online sales, this initiative seeks to add value to a traditional product whose profitability is currently facing challenges, while also guaranteeing a fair price for producers.
