August 16, 2004 - Nickelodeon Studios in Universal Orlando [The Day Before The Final Show Taping]

On August 16, 2004 I was in Orlando Florida on vacation, and my family spent a day in Universal Studios. Though also 2-3 days prior Hurricane Charley also came to Orlando, Florida. Lucky for me Universal Studios was still operational (Though it seems the hurricane knocked off both Ns from the Nickelodeon sign). We saw the Slime Fountain, and attended a gameshow on the set where Nick Splat was filmed, rode Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast multiple times, and got a photo with a sponge. After we ate at Mel's Drive-In and took a look around, but we were mainly there for Nickelodeon. Unknown to me, the following day would be the last day the studio was ever used by Nickelodeon.
