How we insulate our camper shell – with XPE foam. The walls are 60mm thick, and the floor is a bit thicker. Due to the floor construction, the insulation isn't uniform; in some places it's only 30mm, and in others 120mm. However, this isn't a big deal because of the heating system above. We are Lysan and Benjamin, and we live and travel through Europe in our camper van. We drive a 1995 Concorde 620XT on a Fiat Ducato 230 2.5TDI chassis.
