I went to Nasu Kogen Volpe, the only Carlo Resort hotel in Nasu Highlands. Their natural hot springs were so amazing that I went in twice. The water is lukewarm, so a long, leisurely soak will warm you up even more. Not only is it open 24 hours a day, but the baths are large, so they're never too crowded. The chairs in the changing room were also comfortable, making them perfect for relaxing after a bath.
