Germany: The Hanau High and Middle School Compound In 2014!

At this location, the Hanau US Middle School building is the only building that still exist. In 2010, the US Middle School building was adopted by The German Paul-Gerhardt-Schule The Hanau High School has been cleared for the new neighborhood of houses that have arisen since Hanau Military Community closed in September/August 2008.. Hanau High School was first opened in 1976, and closed when the Hanau Milcom deactivated in August/September 2008. Before Hanau had its own High School, US Hanau Milcom Teens, used to attend Frankfurt American High School, in Frankfurt, Germany. FAHS was located on the Gen. Creighton Abrams Complex, which is about a 40 minute drive, on a school bus, from New Argonner Kaserne. Hanau's middle School and High School were on the same compound and right next to each other. Since Hanau High is no longer where it used to be, Hanau's Middle School was filmed instead, along with most of the school complex that could be captured without being seen too much by the cameras in the area.
