Researcher Positioning on the Internet: Mendeley Series: Digital Identity, Positioning, and Promotion of Health Sciences Professionals Recording Date: April 5, 2018 In addition to being one of the leading bibliographic reference managers, Mendeley is an important social network for researchers that allows us to share and increase the visibility of our publications, while they are indexed by Google Scholar. Furthermore, it helps us increase the presence of our work on complementary or next-generation metrics platforms such as Altmetrics or Plumx, and includes tools to link our profile to systems like ORCID or Scopus ID for data import.
