DOMINION #7: CULTURE REDEEMED & WHOLE NATIONS SAVED? - What is Dominionism - SARAH LESLIE

In this video, we continue discussing Sara Leslie’s Article on Dominionism: Specifically, the idea that entire cultures can be "redeemed," and whole nations can be saved. In order to discuss why these concepts simply are not biblical or even possible, we establish the difference between Evangelism and Evangelization - and why transforming nations/cultures/societies cannot happen without first transforming individual hearts through preaching the Gospel. Well-meaning and biblical-sounding people and concepts are skipping over the crucial step of Evangelism - preaching the Gospel of JESUS from the Bible - in favor of group think, persuasion through a person of peace, and adding to the already Gospel message in order to "transform" and "redeem." This is simply impossible apart from accepting the saving work of JESUS CHRIST, and being filled with His SPIRIT. We discuss current pitfalls, problems and manipulation taking place in the Mission World - both of those who have yet to know and accept JESUS, as well as those inside the Church. Missionaries often bring more than just the Good News of JESUS to developing nations; causing dependency, a watered down Gospel, and importing our cultural priorities and preferences - often causing more harm than good.
