Avoid Cussing Keep personal info private: For your safety, do not share your real name, age, location, or any private details in the chat. No backseat gaming: Please don't tell me how to play, where to go, or what to do unless I explicitly ask the chat for help. No spoilers: Keep the story, plot twists, and hidden secrets to yourself. Let's experience the game naturally together! Respect the mods: My moderators are here to keep the vibes good. If they ask you to change your behavior or drop a topic, listen to them. Enforce the Rules, Not Personal Opinions The Rule: Mods must enforce the channel’s established guidelines, not their personal preferences or pet peeves. Why it matters: If a mod dislikes a certain game, a specific emoji, or an opinion that doesn't actually break stream rules, they cannot timeout or ban that viewer. Power-tripping mods will quickly alienate your audience. 2. Follow the Escalation Ladder (Firm but Fair) The Rule: Unless a violation is severe (e.g., hate speech, doxxing, or malicious links), mods must follow the channel's standard disciplinary steps: Public/Private Warning (Let the viewer know the behavior isn't okay). Timeout (A 5-to-10 minute cooling-off period). Permanent Ban (Only if the behavior continues after a timeout). Why it matters: Going straight to a permanent ban for minor offenses makes the chat feel hostile and unforgiving. 3. De-escalate Chaos, Don't Fuel It The Rule: Do not argue with trolls or toxic viewers in chat. Use the moderation tools quietly and efficiently. Why it matters: Trolls want attention. If a mod enters a typing war with a troll, it derails the entire chat experience and gives the disruptive viewer exactly what they want. Clean it up and move on.
