A hot rainy summer evening in my van Urbana 🌧️🐕 After arriving at our spot in the middle of a heatwave, the temperature is still over 32°C (90°F). We open every window, deploy the awning, and try to stay cool while enjoying a peaceful van life evening. As rain begins to fall, an unexpected battle against mosquitoes starts. Mosquito screens go up, the insect repellent comes out, and the van slowly transforms into a cozy shelter from the weather. The evening continues with some editing work on my MacBook before settling in for the night. The next morning brings clear skies, fresh air, a relaxing coffee session, and a quiet departure from our temporary home.
