Hiking Moel Siabod via Daear Ddu: An easy scramble in Snowdonia/Eryri

Moel Siabod is a beautiful hike in Snowdonia (Eryri) with a grade 1 scramble on Daear Ddu Ridge which is perfect for beginners. Starting from the free car park at Bryn Glo, Nick and I hike up to the summit of Moel Siabod via the Daear Ddu Ridge. Daear Ddu Ridge is a grade 1 scramble which is perfect for beginners as harder and more exposed parts can easily be avoided by staying to the left of the ridge. This route passes through Foel quarry and circles back via the North East Ridge. Join us on this hike where we enjoyed perfectly calm conditions and colourful heather in full bloom.
