Paper Rose Studio Heart & Home Interactive Card Folio Tutorial

Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday! Today I'm going to show you how to create a 5x7 top fold card folio base using 1 sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. Score this long panel at 7" and 7 1/4". Fold on the 7 1/4" score line and score again at 7". Cut (2) 1" x 2 1/8" gussets from kraft cardstock, score in half at 1/2" and adhere to the pocket sides. Inside Card Liners: (1) 4 7/8" x 6 7/8" white cardstock trimmed to 4 7/8" x 4 1/2" and 4 7/8" x 2 1/4 to line the pocket. (1) 6 1/8" x 6 7/8" panel of white cardstock scored 4 7/8". Fold so that you have a short flap on the left. Adhere a 4" x 6 7/8" panel of white cardstock on the front of this flap. Ocean Mist Liners: (1) 4 3/4" x 4 3/8" and (1) 4 3/4" x 2 1/8" for the pocket. (1) 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" and (2) 3 3/4" x 6 3/4" for the flap front and back. Patterned paper: 4 5/8" x 4 1/4" and (2) 4 5/8" wide scrap pieces to line the pocket. Bookmark: 1 3/4" x 6" panel of Ocean Mist scored in half at 3; 1 5/8" x 6" scrap of patterned paper scored in half at 3"; 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" scrap for the front along with an embossed die cut from the card kit. Top of card: 4 5/8" x 6 5/8" patterned cut from 12x12 Pattern Papers; (2) 3 5/8" x 6 5/8" panels cut from the same sheet of Patterns. For the Pop Out Box: 6" x 6 1/4" panel of Ocean Mist. From the left score at 5/8", 4 7/8", 5 1/2" and 6". Place Scor-Tape on the outside flaps and adhere as seen in the video. Select a 4" x 6" panel for the top of the pop out box and embellish as desired. Card Cover: 4 7/8" x 6 7/8" panel of white cardstock; 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" panel of Ocean Mist cardstock; 4 5/8" x 6 5/8" panel of patterned paper. Belly Band: 4 5/8" x 3 1/2" pattern matted on slightly larger Ocean Mist panel; 4 5/8" x 1 3/4" floral strip; (2) 4 5/8" x 5/8" strips of diagonal stripes; Cut the focal image to 4" x 6" and mat on a slightly larger panel of Ocean Mist. Die cut (2) of the 2nd largest arches from the Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Arch (4" x 6") and another panel from acetate to form the shaker frame. Any Heartfelt Creations Arch die will work here.
