The Midland Pullman at Two Contrasting Locations 22 07 26

With steam traction banned on our railways during the prolonged heat wave, the Midland Pullman operates the Settle to Carlisle and Tyne Valley Pullman from Potters Bar to Carlisle. A change of scenery is needed from the Border City, so I opt for two totally contrasting locations - the first an idyllic rural station, the second an urban station which I've never previously visited and which is lucky to have survived after years of non-use.
