Come with me on an actual flying lesson. You will see the amazing scenery along my first cross country flight from Branson Missouri to Aurora Missouri. We will fly over Table Rock Lake , Silver Dollar City and some pretty countryside along the way. Hear the conversation about the thrills and challenges of flying. It's been a life long dream to learn to fly a plane, but like so many goals, some of them just get pushed to the side. Life happens and sometimes we just don't get to pursue everything that interest us. When I was in my teen age years I wanted to learn to fly, but I was too busy trying to make ends meet. In my twenties I was raising a family. In my thirties I was too busy building a real estate empire. In my forties I had simply forgot about the dream... This year just after my 57th birthday I decided it was finally time to learn to fly. My youngest son was taking lessons and I decided to jump in also. So I booked my discovery flight and I am so glad I did. Flying a small plane is an amazing experience. This flight was smooth and I was applying all of the things I thought I had learned about the aircraft, the process of flying the aircraft and containing the excitement of actually controlling the aircraft.
