Subscribe to our channel:    / @seidobudostudies   School: Wadō Ryū Jūjutsu Kempō Karate-jutsu Event: Meiji Jingu Kobudo Demonstration 2019 Date: 03/11/2019 Venue: Meiji Jingu, Nishisando Shibachi Founder: Ōtsuka Hironori Current representative: Ōtsuka Hironori (Sōke 3th generation) -- PRESENTATION: WADŌ RYŪ JŪJUTSU KEMPŌ KARATE-JUTSU -- Wadō Ryū Jūjutsu Kempō and Wadō Ryū Karate-jutsu were founded by Ōtsuka Hironori. He was a student of Nakayama Tatsusaburō Yukiyoshi, third Shihan of Shintō Yōshin Ryū Jūjutsu. From July 1923, he starts training Karate, and creates an original style gathering both strong points of several Japanese schools and particular characteristics of Karate. At the beginning of the Shōwa period (late 20s), he completed the principles and techniques of Wadō Ryū Karate Jutsu and Jūjutsu Kempō. Nowadays, master Ōtsuka Hironori, third master of the school, took the name of the founder in his honor.
