Pronúncias dos Açores, por Victor Rui Dores (HD)

All people, places, cities, and countries have their own language, their own way of expressing themselves. Heritage, knowledge, study, whim, communication as a sound form of expression is used by humans and animals. It is in humans that it is most pronounced and well-known, thus varying from person to person... Even in small towns, there are different ways for each person to express themselves. One of these forms is called "pronunciation," and that is exactly what Victor Rui Dores will talk to us about. Professor, writer, and actor, with a degree in Germanic studies, he is perhaps one of the greatest poets/writers/chroniclers of the Azores today. But, as he himself defines it, he is undoubtedly a great communicator. He knows our knowledge, customs, and traditions, and in this specific case, Azorean linguistics as well as its different dialectal forms. This is yet another contribution to our Azorean intangible cultural heritage. A very special thank you to Professor Victor Rui Dores for dedicating several hours of his precious time in the studio to share with us all, thanks to his communicative power, his knowledge and expertise on this fantastic way for beings to communicate... the dialectic of speech. (I would like to inform you that this version is complete, thus being the result of some work and many good intentions, as well as the involvement of several people; the Island of São Jorge is included. Many thanks to everyone who made this addition possible.) नमस्ते josé
