Making My Great Uncle’s 90th Birthday Gift… Everything That Could Go Wrong! (As Always 🤣)

This was meant to be a special tribute to my Great Uncle Jack (known to most of us as Cyril 🤣) for his incredible 90th birthday. I decided to make him a pair of handmade quilted slippers using a Stuart Hillard pattern… but let’s just say things didn’t exactly go to plan 😅 What started as a “quick little project” very quickly turned into chaos, confusion, frustration, and me questioning every life decision I’ve ever made 🤣 But somehow, against all odds, we got there in the end. A huge, heartfelt thank you to all the new members of this little community. The love and support recently has honestly been overwhelming in the best possible way and has helped me more than I can properly put into words.
