Acura, BDKA Teardown
In this video, i teardown a 5 speed Acura transmission called a BDKA. This trans would not shift until warmed up. Since it did not shift cold, i took the valvebody sections cleaned them and put them in the freezer for a couple of hours to see if any shift or clutch pressure control valves were dragging or sticking in the bore. I also point out an issue with the manual valve should the valvebody have to be changed. Also the regulator body on this trans is very common to get ring grooves and would have to be replaced.
