On this trip, we left Los Antiguos, passed through Bajo Caracoles, and traveled 72 kilometers on a gravel road to reach Lago Posadas, deep in the Patagonian heartland of Santa Cruz province. A little-known place, surrounded by mountains, silence, and landscapes that seem timeless. During the journey, the road itself becomes part of the experience: guanacos, rheas, the open Andes Mountains, and the visual connection between Lago Posadas and Lago Pueyrredón, separated only by a road.
