In this video, we'll work through the first probability exercise from the June 2024 University Entrance Exam (PAU) for Mathematics II in the Valencian Community. The exercise states: A bag contains two coins, M1 and M2. Coin M1 is a biased coin with heads on one side and tails on the other. The probability of getting heads with coin M1 is 0.6. Coin M2 has heads on both sides. a) We randomly select a coin from the bag, toss it, record the result, and return it to the bag. We repeat this action three times. 1. What is the probability of getting three heads? 2. What is the probability of getting exactly one tail? b) A coin is randomly selected from the bag and tossed twice, resulting in two heads. Calculate the probability that the selected coin is coin M1. Answer the same question for coin M2.
