DIY fix for Aux no sound on BMW 5 series E60 after android/CarPlay unit installed.

If have bought one have these Android auto/ CarPlay unit for you BMW 5 series and after installing you are not getting any audio from the AUXILIARY this is how to fix it. * DO NOT REPIN YOUR AUXILIARY WIRE* It should be left as it is, instead what you want to do is pay attention to the wires at the back of the harnesses and there position and do a retrofit of the harness on your auxiliary cable to fit the second slot. It’s not made for that side so you will need to cut off the pieces that stops it from going. Be careful when doing this, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IS YOU DAMAGE YOUR HARNESS. Once you’ve done that put the harnesses in place plug up and you should have audio. YOUR CAR NEEDS TO BE CODED FOR AUXILIARY IF IT DOESNT HAVE IT ALREADY.
