¿QUÉ PASÓ CON LAURA GERALDINE MALDONADO LA NOCHE QUE DESAPARECIÓ?

Laura Geraldine Maldonado Garcia was 19 years old. She was a nursing assistant and the mother of a 4-year-old girl. She dreamed of practicing her profession and building a better future for her little girl. However, on February 14, her mother heard her voice for the last time. That day, the young woman was persistently asked out by a man. Hours later, everything changed when she was found dead under a bridge in Villeta, Cundinamarca, Colombia. Currently, the case is under investigation by the competent authorities. To date, the alleged perpetrator remains free, while the investigation continues. Ms. Janeth Gracia, Geraldine Maldonado's mother, has expressed her legitimate expectation that the Attorney General's Office will diligently pursue the investigation, collect and evaluate the relevant evidence, and make the corresponding decisions in accordance with the law, in order to prevent any impunity and guarantee truth and justice.
