Salzburg & Berchtesgaden

In Salzburg, I used the Salzburg Pass to experience many of the city’s top attractions, including Mozart’s most important places, historic landmarks, beautiful viewpoints, cable car rides, Salzburg Zoo, and the famous fountains and gardens of Hellbrunn Palace. The pass made it easy to discover the city’s culture, history, and incredible scenery. After exploring Salzburg, I took a bus to the Berchtesgaden area to visit some of the region’s most fascinating and historic locations. I explored the Documentation Center and Hitler’s Bunker at Obersalzberg, continued up to the famous Eagle’s Nest (Kehlsteinhaus), and finished the day surrounded by the breathtaking Alpine landscape near Königssee.
