Court ruling offers hope to Daniel Green, the man convicted of killing Michael Jordan's father
CASE UPDATE: The North Carolina Court of Appeals Court upheld a request from attorneys that Daniel Green's case be reconsidered. Green is serving a life sentence for the murder of James Jordan, Michael Jordan's dad. In 2020 a judge ruled that Green did not deserve another day in court to have new evidence heard in his case. Now the North Carolina court of appeals has vacated that ruling and kicked it back to the same judge for reconsideration. This story originally aired December 1, 2021 on WRAL-TV.
