Currently celebrating their 20 year anniversary, 'Major Definition' is a competitive dance crew based at UMBC. They aim to promote an awareness of street dance culture through competitions, performances, and workshops within UMBC and the regional community. This is all with the intention to build confidence, leadership, and team unity within their dancers. Major Def encourages students of the dance community to pursue and further develop their talents both in individual and group choreography, freestyle, and performance. Major Def is more than just a competition dance team; they are a family that strives to promote the culture that has touched each and every one of us as dancers.
