米建国250周年 日本でも記念イベント 花火やドローンで祝福(2026年7月4日)

On July 4th, the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of its founding. Commemorative events were held in Tokyo, with fireworks and drones in colors reminiscent of the American flag illuminating the night sky. Ahead of July 4th, American Independence Day, events commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States were also held in Japan on July 3rd. The venue, overlooking the Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge illuminated in red, white, and blue, was filled with a celebratory atmosphere thanks to a 20-minute fireworks and drone show, as well as a performance by a popular American rock band. U.S. Ambassador to Japan Glass, Defense Minister Koizumi, and Tokyo Governor Koike also participated in the event, expressing their desire to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. Defense Minister Koizumi: "Never in the nearly 200-year history of Japan-U.S. relations have the ties between our two countries been this close. I sincerely hope that we can join forces, continue to walk together, and build a bright future."
