Pachelbel’s Canon was originally calm, polite—like a butler quietly pouring tea. But here, that butler is suddenly thrown into armor and pushed onto a battlefield. The strings abandon elegance to swing swords, guitars tear through the sky like thunder, and the choir sings something that feels halfway between prayer and war command. The classical structure dissolves, replaced by something grand, dramatic, and slightly excessive.
