I went on a 4-night, 5-day trip to Obihiro, Hokkaido. Cheongju Airport - Obihiro Airport Thanks to the direct flight with AeroK, I was able to travel conveniently. Obihiro is a small city in Hokkaido, where I was able to experience the Japanese winter more deeply. Since the Obihiro region is mostly flat, the endlessly stretching snowfields, trees, and sky were truly magnificent. Moor Onsen, a representative hot spring in the Tokachi region, is a rare plant-based hot spring in the world. The water is brown and slippery, making my skin incredibly smooth. Spending time in an open-air bath in minus 15 degrees Celsius was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Obihiro is a city of food. It is the home of Butadon (pork rice bowl), and is famous for its winter-limited milk, cheese, and ice cream. Tokachi desserts are considered top-tier in Japan. Also, because there are few tourists, I was able to experience the authentic Japanese local culture. There were almost no Koreans or Chinese, and the majority were locals. It felt like I had stepped into everyday Japanese life. We visited the Sahoro, Tomamu, and Furano ski resorts, which are close to Obihiro. These three ski resorts are... It was clean and reasonably priced. There was plenty to eat and see, and best of all, there weren't many people at the ski resort.
