1966 Lincoln Continental | Dashboard Removal Step-by-Step

Removing the dashboard on a 1966 Lincoln Continental Coupe is no small task. In this video, I walk through the full dashboard removal process step by step on my all original, numbers matching 1966 Lincoln Continental Coupe. This is a complete 1966 Lincoln Continental dashboard teardown, not just a quick dash pull. I cover everything required to remove the dash, including the crash pad, instrument cluster, speedometer assembly, factory air conditioning registers and ducting, radio, manual temperature controls, fuel gauge, trim panels, hidden fasteners, wiring, speedometer cable, windshield moldings, and full dash frame removal. The goal of removing the dashboard is to gain access to the factory heater core and evaporator core housing mounted to the firewall so I can continue restoring and detailing the engine bay properly during this full restoration. If you are restoring a 1966 Lincoln Continental, removing a dashboard, gaining access to the heater core and evaporator housing, removing an instrument cluster, servicing factory air conditioning components, or working through a full interior restoration, this video should help guide the process and hopefully save you some time and frustration.
