The film opens with a Ghibli inspired animated sequence before crossing into the real day, a quiet nod to two people who wanted their story told in two languages. Vanika and Mayank wanted a pre-wedding session that felt like the city they were building a life in, and Toronto gave us everything. We started at Union Station, hand-holds across the brick on Front Street with the CN Tower tucked in behind the colonnade. Long shadows through the columns, two commuters who had clearly done this walk a hundred times and never once on camera. Then east to the RC Harris Waterworks. She pulled on a red gown, he layered into a moss-green suit, and the session shifted into a slower, cinematic second act with Lake Ontario stretching behind every frame.
