We explore George Town, Penang's UNESCO Heritage old town, in Part 1 of our 48 hours in Penang Malaysia travel vlog. In this George Town Penang travel vlog we wander along Chulia Street and explore the colonial history of Penang, passing Fort Cornwallis, the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, and City and Town Hall. We experience the city’s multicultural heritage as we visit St. George’s Church, the Goddess of Mercy Temple (Kuan Yin Teng), Sri Mahamariamman Temple, and Kapitan Keling Mosque. Next, we spend a couple of hours discovering the history and architecture of the Blue Mansion (Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion), before a refreshing swim at our hotel. Later, we hunt for Penang’s famous street art in the laneways around Armenian Street, and finish the day with a drink and dinner on Love Lane.
