Gotham is a dark and murky city, teeming with villains of all kinds. It is a place where evil finds a home because of all the madness that the dark streets and lonely alleyways have to offer. The villain we are going to talk about today is a Mob Boss. Who has left an indelible mark in Batman lore, whether it be in the pages of DC Comics or on the big screen and it is none other than Carmine Falcone. Carmine Falcone was probably the most powerful man in Gotham at one point and his crime syndicate got under Wayne’s skin like no other. It has been over 30 years since Falcone was first introduced in the year 1987 in a four-part story titled Batman: Year One, written by David Mazzuchelli and Frank Miller. Most recently, his character was seen in the flesh in the movie, The Batman which did justice to the complex and gritty nature of the character.
