Exploring The Abandoned Ghost Cabins Of The Mojave Desert (Wasteland Spotlight)
The Ghost Cabins of the Mojave Desert are scattered all over the landscape out here, and many of them contain valuable lessons for collapse preppers. In this video we will explore one settlement in particular, and discuss several aspects of collapse prepping that such an exploration pertains to. there is more to prepping than just gear! Whether it is looking for an unconventional place to bug out to in a SHTF situation when you haven't had the time to create your own bug out location, or if you are just scouting the area around where your bug out location is established, doing recon of points of interest is an important part of prepping for collapse. America is a very big place, and much of it is wide open and empty of people... but not empty of other things. Going out to explore old mining facilities, abandoned military installations, crumbling factories or just simple old cabins is a prepping exercise in multiple ways. Not only will you see and explore ruins that can give you an idea of what the post-collapse world might look like, but you have an opportunity to practice skills, get a little more fit, and spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. For me, the Mojave Desert is a great place for it, and I spend as much time out there as I can. So, take the road less traveled every now and then. I hope to see you out there.
