Please read before watching. I tried to make the lyrics have a different meaning than what the song intended, so the song in the context of the video is different than what it usually means. Here's the translation. (Homura) You call me on the telephone, you feel so far away (Implying that Homura feels so distant from Madoka with each timeline). (Madoka) You tell me to come over, there's some games you want to play (Kyubey is saying this to Madoka and is trying to trick her into contracting using mind games). (Madoka) I'm walking to your house, nobody's home Just me and you and you and me alone (She refuses Kyubey and walks to Homura's house and Madoka tells Homura what happened. Homura responds with sadness.) (Kyubey) We're just playing hide and seek It's getting hard to breathe under the sheets with you (Kyubey keeps trying to pursue Madoka, and it's getting harder and harder for Madoka to refuse, but Homura stops her before she can). (Homura) I don't want to play no games I'm tired of always chasing, chasing after you (Homura is sick of trying to stop Kyubey timeline after timeline, but persists because she wants to protect Madoka) (Kyubey) I don't give a fuck about you anyways Whoever said I gave a shit 'bout you? You never share your toys or communicate I guess I'm just a play date to you (Kyubey says that he doesn't care about the magical girls and how they need to sacrifice their souls for the betterment of the world and how immature they are for not seeing the bigger picture). (As this is going on, Homura's memories start flooding her dreams and she wakes up in shock and fear). (Madoka) Wake up in your bedroom and there's nothing left to say When I try to talk you're always playing board games I wish I had monopoly over your mind (Madoka is done talking to Kyubey and listening to his mind games and how it seems pointless trying to talk to him. She tries to talk to Homura who responds coldly. Madoka thinks Homura acts like Kyubey when in reality, Homura is fighting against witches and is making plans to protect Madoka. Madoka wishes she knew what was going on in Homura's head). (Homura) I wish I didn't care all the time (Implying that Homura wishes she was strong enough to protect Madoka). (Kyubey) We're just playing hide and seek It's getting hard to breathe under the sheets with you (Homura's memories of the past timelines  and how she failed to save Madoka each time starts to trigger). (Homura) I don't want to play no games I'm tired of always chasing, chasing after you (Homura steel's herself again, refusing to give up once more when she remembers Madoka. She's not falling for Kyubey's tricks and ploys). (Kyubey) I don't give a fuck about you anyways Whoever said I gave a shit 'bout you? You never share your toys or communicate I guess I'm just a play date to you (Meanwhile, Kyubey tells Madoka that he doesn't care about her or the other girl's suffering, and how beneficial the system is, regardless of how it affects them). (Homura) Ring around the rosy I never know, I never know what you need Ring around the rosy, I want to give you, want to give you What you need (Homura meanwhile, contemplates all of the resets, and tries to figure out what she needs to do to save Madoka for good. Thoughts running rampant, she goes out to fight Walpurgisnacht once more, but gets beaten down per usual). (Madoka) I don't give a fuck about you anyways Whoever said I gave a shit 'bout you? You never share your toys or communicate I guess I'm just a play date to you (Madoka, after seeing Homura get beaten down and decides to contract with Kyubey, not caring what the consequences are or Kyubey's warnings. She makes the ultimate sacrifice and saves all magical girls) (Homura) You know I give a fuck about you everyday Guess it's time that I tell you the truth If I share my toys, will you let me stay? Don't want to leave this play date with you (Homura tells Madoka how much she cares about her and how much she suffered trying to save her. She asks Madoka if they can stay together and share the burden of saving all magical girls and how she couldn't bear it if Madoka left.
