Pinch of Orange Food Coloring Gel(optional) ½ t. Citric Acid Prepare silicone molds by lightly spraying with oil. (or just wet a napkin/serviette with a bit of oil and do it manually) . - Boil ½ cup water in kettle and steep Loose Tea in reusable tea basket for 5 minutes. You will only need ¼ cup of the tea for the recipe. - In small pot measure out Xylitol Crystals. Pour in ¼ Cup of Orange Tea. Whisk then set on medium/hot burner. Get out Candy Thermometer. Tilt pan in circular motion to grab the sweeteners crystals that are hanging out on the side of the pan. Mixing is unnecessary, just watch closely. - Once mixture begins to bubble a bit put in the thermometer ( I like the ones that click to the side of the pot so I don’t have to hold it ). This step will happen in less than 5 minutes. Watch the thermometer climb to 300F then remove immediately from heat…Xylitol will burn if you leave it. - Carefully measure in the Extract, Citric Acid and the Food Colouring. Whisk. - Let it sit for 2-3 minutes then use a Candy Dropper Tool tool squeeze the sugar free candy into the silicone molds. Let it set up on the counter for a few hours. - Gently remove from molds. Store in airtight container indefinitely CINNAMON HEART Sugar Free Candy You’ll need a Silicone Candy Molds, Candy Thermometer ☺ AND need to be an ADULT to do this recipe.
