R.I.P! Uplifting Tour at Palace Hotel**** Copenhagen, Denmark

R.I.P! The two main elevators (Waygood-OTIS and Fischer & Ravn) have both been completely replaced by TKE when this hotel has been taken over by Scandic. Only the service elevator remains. Although that one is now locked off and you need a service card to unlock the floors in the cab. Tour of the elevators - two Fischer & Ravn elevators without inner doors, one modernized 1960's Waygood-OTIS elevator. The oldest public elevator is built by Heinholst back in 1910, the service elevator is from 1966. The OTIS should be from 1956. Quite a weird setup. This hotel is very classic and the set of two passenger elevators is really interesting since the elevators are so different to each other. One is a historic Fischer & Ravn lift without inner doors. The other is a 1960's Waygood-OTIS (didn't expect to find that). They used to run independently, but now they really work as a set since they have been modernized. SPECIAL! The third elevator is a historic service lift built by Fischer & Ravn. Elevators (3): 0:00 Introduction 0:12 Guest elevator from 1910 2:37 Guest elevator from 1956 4:41 Service elevator
