【登山】 福岡の名低山 三日月山長谷ルート

This time, we'll be introducing Mt. Mikazukiyama (272m), located on the border between Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City and Hisayama Town, Kasuya District. There are a variety of trailheads, but this time we started from the Hase Dam Memorial Park parking lot and ascended from the south side of Hase Dam (Lake Mikazuki) to the summit of Mt. Mikazukiyama, crossing several small peaks along the way. We enjoyed the spectacular view from the summit, and on the way down, we took the route that leads straight down the steep slope to Mt. Mikazukiyama Cemetery. *The Mt. Mikazukiyama Cemetery parking lot has a large parking lot, restrooms, and vending machines, but please note that the parking lot entrance gate opens (9:00 AM) and closes (7:00 PM). If you arrive before opening (9:00 AM), you will likely need to use the Hase Dam Memorial Park parking lot, as we did this time. *If you are hoping for clear views, the best times to visit are early spring to spring or autumn to winter. If you are physically able to do so, we recommend extending your trip to the neighboring Mt. Tachibanayama!
