Lady Oscar is a series created by Riyoko Ikeda, published by Margaret magazine in 1972, compiled in 10 manga volumes. Later, in 1979, a 40-episode anime was made, directed by Tadao Nagahama and Osamu Dezaki (Remi). ➥ In this fourth part, we finally see the formal beginning of the 18th-century French Revolution, with constant fighting and battles between royalty and the people. Lady Oscar, along with André, will take charge of Regiment B. Louis XVI, his ministers, and the royal guard will be held entirely responsible for the events and will be punished by Robespierre's Jacobins. Marie Antoinette, the Queen of France, and her family will oppose the Third Estate and be imprisoned after an escape attempt planned by Hans Axel Von Fersen and Lord Jarjayes. Chatelet and Rosalie fight alongside the people against unjustified violence, while Saint Just and his people deliver several messages to the nobles, including Lord Jarjayes.
