What is Important for Health: Why breathing less than normal can help to move energy in your body
In this short talk, I discuss why breathing less than normal can help to move energy in your body. I begin by addressing the two main things that are important for health, happiness and long term health. These are having good blood circulation with a low heart rate and a calm balanced nervous system. It is important therefore to practice in a way that develops and maintains a stable, strong, mobile, functional body while moving good energy (healthy blood circulation) and loving information (dominance of the parasympathetic nervous system. I discuss the main method to doing this at the same time as increasing flexibility without strong stretching and increasing strength without feeling tension. I continue by elaborating on the physiology of breathing and how breathing less than normal actually improves blood flow to the brain and heart. ***** If you want to learn more about these topics please go to https://simonborgolivier.com/ and submit your email and I will send you some complimentary notes and video practices.
