古琴曲《捣衣》传为唐代潘庭坚所作，为梅庵派代表曲目。此曲曲调畅快利落，慷慨激昂，气息紧凑，首尾一气呵成！正值秋凉时节，妇人们不辞辛苦地连夜赶制寒衣，寄给戍守边关的丈夫，她们将思念之情托付在这捣杵声中，是那样响亮和急迫。 Dao Yi （literally ’Beat Clothes）： A qin composition, attributed to Pan Tingjian during the Tang Dynasty (618 ~ 907 ). In autumn, when the weather becomes cool, women beginning to prepare winter clothes beat the clothes with a stick when washing them, hence the other names Qiu Chu Nong （Stick in the Autumn）and Qiu Yuan Dao Yi （Beating Clothes in the Autumn Yard）. The music expresses the mood of women thinking of their loved ones far away.
