Ferris Z3X | How to Replace Drive Belt |

Detailed and Step by Step instructions with a first-person point of view on how to replace the drive belt on a Ferris Z3X mower. Tools needed are a 1/2" socket wrench with an extension (preferably 10" or more), a 9/16 socket, and your replacement belt. Additional tools that would be helpful include a flashlight, a small flathead screwdriver or pocket knife and a cheater bar for leverage (I used a 2ft pipe). OEM Part number 5105316 which is 80.79 inches. The belt in the Amazon link provided will fit 61” and 72” without a doubt. Now then, the mower I'm working on specifically in this video is a 72" deck with a 37HP Vanguard EFI motor but I suspect the drive system should be the same but for most if not all Z3X's mowers. My mower called for a 5/8" wide x 81" length V Belt. On the packaging, this belt is commonly converted to a " 78 ".
