It's also a great way to practice knitting, as you can make pumpkins from rectangles using any pattern. The materials you'll need are two skeins of yarn in one color and an additional color for the trim and stuffing (you can use an old, beaten-up pillow). You can use any color. Crochet hooks (5 and 4 mm). A needle, scissors, and a willingness to play... I recommend it.
