Queen - Live Aid (July 10th, 1985) [Definitive Rehearsal]

Here I present to you the most definitive edit of Queen's rehearsal for Live Aid. This video features some unseen clips from both the interview segment and a different run-through of songs. Many thanks to Chief Mouse for remastering the official copy and Sikke's tape copy. The video begins with the interview segment with the whole band sitting in the Shaw Theatre, this features some unseen clips which were edited out of official releases (thanks to Sikke for the footage). Now onto the actual rehearsal footage, on the original July 1985 report and then official QPL copies after, it was edited to make the rehearsal look like a multi-camera shoot. In reality, it was a single camera that recorded possibly 2-3 different takes and then used the best of them to create 1 "multi-camera shoot". So I have made this video as to how it was originally shot, again thanks to Sikke for proving a tape without this editing. So in this video, we have the rehearsal run-through that we all know and love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga and some of Hammer To Fall, thanks to Sikke again for the extra although damaged footage. After the Hammer To Fall footage ends, we have very short clips of the different takes of Bohemian Rhapsody, and an almost full take of a 2nd Radio Ga Ga performance. These short clips come from the original July 1985 broadcast and where again, edited to make it look like multi-camera.
