Season 3 Episode 1: Whatever Happened to Baby John Part 1 J.R. informs Jock of the Asian oil wells that might be good business the cartel. Jock and J.R. agree not to bring Willie Joe and Jab back to Ewing-Oil after the death of Julie Gray. Pam and Bobby agree that the Barnes-Ewing feud keeps making it difficult for them both. Bobby tells Pam that he told Cliff to stay away from Sue Ellen and the baby. Pam assures Bobby that Cliff won’t cause trouble. Bobby warns Pam that he and J.R. will ruin Cliff if he drags the Ewings through the mud. J.R. assures Jock that everything will be okay with Sue Ellen and the baby.
