Corinne Bradd’s homemade draught excluder is a great way to keep the cold out and the energy bills down. It can be made from scrap fabric and stuffed with insulation fleece or an old rolled-up towel, making it a fantastic stashbuster too. The double roll keeps the bottom of the excluder flat on the floor without the need to weigh it with dry rice – so it can also be chucked fearlessly in the wash! To create your draught excluder, simply measure the width of your door or window, measure the circumference of your stuffing roll, and cut or patchwork your fabric to fit.
