How to Easily Backup and Restore a Stratix 5200 | Tech Support

Nate Kay, Systems Engineer with McNaughton-McKay, teaches viewers to backup and restore the configuration of an Allen-Bradley® Stratix® 5200 managed industrial Ethernet switch from ‪@RockwellautomationInc‬. Kay starts the backup process by connecting to the Stratix 5200 using the web browser interface and navigating through the Administration panel to Backup & Restore. Kay explains the different options to select from, including the File Type, Configuration Type and Transfer Mode. Once you’ve downloaded the configuration file, users can follow a similar process to restore the settings. Finally, Kay explains the Synchronization feature, which can be used for easy switch replacements or to quickly deploy standardized configurations across multiple new devices. If you have any questions about any of your Allen-Bradley products, comment below or contact your local McNaughton-McKay office.
